Adding Audio to a Post

  1. Login,
  2. Go to “Write”
  3. Click on the Upload tab.
  4. Nexdt to the “file” text box, “Browse…” to the file you want to upload, select the file, then click on the “open” button. The full path to the file should be in the “file” text box on the form.
  5. Enter the title and description of the file.
  6. Click on the “Upload >>” Tab.
  7. Then, after the file has uploaded, under the upload tab, if you click on the “Browse all” tab, you should see your file listed.
  8. Click on the square that displays the tile of your file.
  9. You should now see something like:<< Back YOUR FILE’s TITLE — EditAnd then the following list:

    Link to: File
    Page
    None

  10. Right click on “YOUR FILE’s TITLE” and copy the url for the audio file to the clipboard (you will need to paste this information in an upcoming step)
  11. Next, under the podcasting heading, select “Add Media File”
  12. Enter the Full path to the media file, like this:
    1. http://sonicsiblings.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/forbidden.mp3
  13. You can enter a title (it may also automatically get the title from the ID3 tag).
  14. Click on Auto Detect for both Size and Duration.
  15. Then click Save (or Save and Continue Editing)
